Synopsis

Renee loses herself in a controlling relationship and the abuse she suffers gets worse until she is utterly trapped.

About the Filmmaker

Ciara is an award-winning Director based in the UK. She loves 2D traditional animation which she explores alongside mixed-media and stop-motion techniques. Ciara graduated from NFTS with a MA in Directing Animation. Ciara has a portfolio of films that range in techniques, each with a unique voice. Her graduation film, ‘Homemaker’, has begun to take the world by storm travelling to festivals worldwide and spreading much-needed awareness on the subject of domestic abuse.
