Synopsis

A budding young chef driven by audacious dreams is bestowed with a rare chance at a prestigious restaurant. He is subjected to relentless trials, pushing his capabilities. Battling a paralyzing fear of failure, he endeavours to cloak his missteps, setting the stage for an impending catastrophe.

About the Filmmaker

Mattis is a Copenhagen-based director and part of the creative duo, Reprise. The other part is cinematographer Milan Bjørnild, from the Netherlands. They’ve been working together for almost a decade and, in turn, created a uniquely vibrant style with poetry and punch. They are represented by Mr. Frank (NL).
